Just HORSE-ing Around with Big Shot’s John Stamos and Lisa Leslie at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
Together they conquered the court! In celebration of Disney+’s newest Original Series, “Big Shot,” actor John Stamos, who plays Coach Korn in the series, and former WNBA three-time MVP Lisa Leslie stopped by the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for a friendly game of hoops. Located in the middle of the magic of Walt Disney World Resort, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex has hosted some of the best athletes, both professional and amateur alike, and is a place that celebrates heart, teamwork, and love of the game – all themes found in the new Disney+ Original Series.
While John may have picked up a few things from coaching the team on ‘Big Shot,” will he be able to take on women’s basketball icon, Lisa Leslie in a game of HORSE? Let’s find out:
“Big Shot”
follows basketball coach Marvyn Korn (Stamos) as he is ousted from the NCAA to
his next job, taking on a girl’s high school team. He soon learns that teenage
girls are more than just X’s and O’s; they require empathy and vulnerability.
By learning to connect with his players, Marvyn starts to grow into the person
he’s always hoped to be. The girls learn to take themselves more seriously,
finding their footing both on and off the court.
